Kyle Roche is a student researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the department of Hepatology and Gastroenterology. He has spent the last three years investigating the role of Sox transcription factors in stem-cell populations in the intestinal epithelium using transgenic inducible knockout mice.
Upon graduation, Kyle expects to enter the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Biological & Biomedical Sciences program to pursue a Ph.D. in Genetics. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing soccer, running, and bar trivia.
