Evan Anderson is currently a fourth-year undergraduate studying Cultural Anthropology with a minor in International Relations at the University of British Columbia. His passion is sustainable international development work, which he intends to pursue as a career.

Evan has traveled in South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. His love for aid work has evolved from field experience working with community service organizations in Mexico, Thailand, and more recently Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he helped establish and facilitate EduHaitian, an organization that grants scholarships to disadvantaged children living in the internal displacement camps in the city.

As a FiRe staff member, Evan will be available for any needed facilitation, including but not limited to information, introductions, and directions. He is thrilled to return to FiRe, which continues to be a one-of-a-kind opportunity.
