Prior to that he was a senior editor at Fortune magazine, penning profiles of everyone from Nike's Phil Knight to the founders of Skype and serving in the post--dot-com boom years as the tech editor, overseeing all IT coverage. Daniel has also worked for Forbes, and he started his career covering technology for the Triangle Business Journal in Raleigh, North Carolina.
