Rolf Skoglund is the former CIO of Ericsson and former vice president ofMicrosoft Corp. He was the founder of Startupfactory (venture capital) and ID Invest AB, and is founder and Chairman of Thinkout AB.

Rolf is currently working full-time with Thinkout AB building an industrial group of high-growth sporting goods companies. He is also active as an investment advisor and business angel, and he supports several government SME growth initiatives.

Prior to Thinkout and Startupfactory, Rolf was with LM Ericsson, where he served as senior vice president and CIO. Prior to Ericsson, hewas vice president and general manager of Microsoft Nordic and later vice president of Microsoft Corp. Rolf joined Microsoft as the company's first Swedish employee in 1985. He started and established Microsoft Nordic as the company's fourth geographical region outside the United States.

Rolf holds an M.Sc.in Physics from Linkˆping University of Technology, Sweden, and is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA).
