Dan Lynch, 67, is a private investor. He is the founder of Interop, now a division of United Business Media. As a founding member of the Internet Society, Dan is active in computer networking with a primary focus in promoting the spread of the Internet. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the Santa Fe Institute and the Bionomics Institute and is an investor in a number of startup companies in the Internet arena. He was a founder of CyberCash, the technology behind PayPal. Dan is also an advisory board member of the SNS Future in Review (FiRe) conference.
Dan puts the bulk of his current energy into serving on the boards of mental and physical health agencies worldwide, including Clinic Ole in Napa, SAPTA in Nairobi, and CorStone in Sausalito.
