Are we headed for a double-dip recession? Strategic News Service publisher Mark Anderson doesn’t think so. He tells KPLU’s Dave Meyer that the technology sector is moving forward while the rest of the economy lags behind.

    A couple years back I think you discribed how IT spending was drastically cut or as you put it went into a dark tunnel when the economy went south. What’s the possibility of that happening again?

    I appreciate your forthright and honest views.

    Hi Tom,

    I don’t currently see that happening, at least on a global scale. While things could change, there seems to be enough momentum coming from demographic changes in Asia, and from economic health in northern Europe, to keep the wheels on. Many, if not most, IT companies of scale are already seeing half or more of their revenues coming from these geographies.
